New collection "Emerging and Re-emerging Infectious Diseases and Zoonoses“

The emergence and re-emergence of zoonotic pathogens pose a serious threat to global health, highlighting the urgent need for collaboration between the entire research community from multidisciplinary to fully understand the drivers for the emergence/re-emergence and pathogenesis of zoonotic pathogens. A further urgent need is to implement a One-Health approach to enhance public knowledge and educate people to reduce the risk for animals and humans. 


Therefore, it is a privilege to announce a new collection entitled "Emerging Infectious Diseases and Zoonoses, "which will be published in the German Journal of Microbiology (ISSN: 2749-0149), Editor-in-Chief: Prof. Dr. Thierry NAAS and the German Journal of Veterinary Research (ISSN 2703-1322), Editor-In-Chief: Prof. Dr. Heinrich Neubauer and Prof. Dr.Hafez M. Hafez. 

The deadline for manuscript submissions is 30 May 2023, and the APC is €1800; however, a full or partial waiver may be provided upon request to disseminate scientific knowledge. Please download the APC waiver request from the author resources to explain the reasons for your request and send it to waiver@gmpc-akademie.de
